As a QA Engineer (Unreal Engine), you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and quality of our Unreal Engine projects. You'll design and execute test plans, automate testing workflows, identify and document issues, and collaborate closely with developers to maintain a high standard of gameplay and system functionality. Your expertise in debugging, performance profiling, and automated testing will be essential in delivering a polished and immersive experience. Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing across different areas, including regression, integration, and functional testing.
- Work closely with the programming team, testing specific changes before code is submitted to the main development branches.
- Write and maintain automated tests to ensure game stability and performance.
- Follow QA Lead priorities to help meet team-wide testing goals.
- Test and contribute to the improvement of production pipelines and tools.
- Serve as the first line of support for the production team regarding technical issues.
Requirements
- Experience in programming and/or scripting.
- Experience working with game engines, preferably Unreal Engine.
- Familiarity with Perforce or other version control systems.
- Strong analytical skills to assess the impact and severity of bugs.
- Rigorous, methodical, and resourceful approach to testing and problem-solving.
- Self-disciplined, responsible, and capable of self-learning.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills (resume must be in English).
- Passion for video games, particularly survival games.
- Desire to continue growing in QA and expand testing expertise.
Nice to haves
- Prior QA experience is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of JIRA and Jenkins.
- Familiarity with the survival genre.
